Kraft Foods Inc. announced a recall yesterday of three different types of Velveeta and Cheese Single Serve Microwavable Cups. The products included in the recall are Velveeta Shells and Cheese Original, Velveeta Shells and Cheese made with 2% milk, and Velveeta Rotini and Cheese Broccoli. The names of the recalled items, and their best-if-used-by-dates are as follows:

Velveeta Rotini and Cheese Microwavable Cups, April 29, 2012 to May 14, 2012
Consumers have been told to look at the bottom of the cups for the best-when-used-by dates. If they find any of these recalled products they should return them to the store where they bought them for a full refund or exchange.
There is a possible danger of thin wire bristle pieces in the cups. It has been reported that 137, 000 cases may have been affected. As of yet no consumer complaints have been made but Kraft has instituted the recall as a precaution.
