Pink Loses 55 Pounds
Singer, actress and performer Pink has lost a total of 55 pounds since last year. Her weight loss program started in the summer of last year after the birth of her daughter Willow Sage.
The weight loss was showcased on the cover of Shape Magazine, which is a fitness magazine for women. Pink posed her stomach in the picture.
“I thought I’d feel like a goddess,” she said. “They sell you on that s**t… like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess.”
In the September issue of People Magazine, the 33-year-old Pink told the news outlet that she has been training for nearly two hours a day, combining cardiovascular exercises, weight training and dancing. Pink has stated that her goal is to lose 10 more pounds, and she will continue her current training and nutritional program to achieve this.
“I’ve been in mommy mode, and I’m just starting to get back out there into the real world,” she said back in June. “I’ve been in the studio recording my new album, so now it feels like everything is falling back into place.”
Although her workouts have been tough, Pink has stated that her nutritional program is very simple and she is not as strict as normal. The singer also states that she has been losing weight because of show rehearsals as well.
